To find some balance in a busy life on and off the race track, F1 drivers look for ways to let off some steam. Italian Jarno Trulli likes to head back to his vineyards in the Abbruzo region to make his own wine, while Adrian Sutil is a skillful pianist.
Jaime Alguersuari, one of the paddock’s youngest members, is more into electronic music. During winter the Spaniard hits some of Ibiza’s clubs as DJ Squire. To promote his debut album Original Life, the Toro Rosso driver was clever enough to use his status as a Formula 1 driver and release it under his own name. Organic Life was a big hit in the Spanish iTunes store. In only five days Alguersuari took pole in the category of most selling electronic album.
The Spaniard also likes to spin discs during race weekends, like at the 2010 Hungarian Grand Prix.
